Library Information

Welcome to the Haledon Free Public Library. We are located on the third floor (elevator access) of the Haledon Municipal Complex at 510 Belmont Avenue in Haledon, New Jersey. Make Your Library Card Work For You

Once you have a Library Card, you have the power to:

  • Browse the Library Catalog and borrow books, movies, games or CDs
  • Renew your items or place a hold request
  • Request hard-to-find materials through Interlibrary Loan (If not available through PALS Plus, we can look statewide, and then nationwide)
  • Access Research Databases from any Internet-capable device
  • Download Audiobooks and E-Books
  • Download digital movies, music, ebooks and more via Hoopla or Palace Project
  • Walk into more than 150 libraries in New Jersey and borrow materials
  • Attend any of our programs for children, teens, adults, or families

Computer Use

There are 14 desktop computers for public use with full Internet accessibility and two children’s computers with no access to the Internet. There is also access to a black and white printer (10 cents per page), color printer (25 cents per page), copier (15 cents per page) and fax machine ($1.00 per page).
